I'm usually not very good at these kinds of introductions but I will give it a try.
I have been a "homesteading prepper" since before the terms were popular I think. I was an Eagle Scout and while in scouts I became very interested in survivalism and old fashioned self-sufficient living. One of my scout leaders that took me under his wing was an old school survivalist and I learned a lot from him. Since then it has been my main interest. I grew up on farms and working on farms so I also learned a lot about small farming and living off the land. I am the father of 6 children, 4 still at home and we live out in the woods in the south central Missouri Ozarks. We aren't completely self-sufficient but we work towards that. Currently we are on the grid but use it as little as we can, before we moved here we were completely off grid with only enough solar power to run a small refrigerator. My main goal in having youtube channel and starting this group is to share and learn more about this life, encourage others to be more prepared and self-sufficient and connect with others.
