Hello from SC. I am interested in prepping, current events, gardening and self-sufficiency. Currently, my husband and I have a small piece of property in a small town, so our garden is small. BUT, it has been productive so far this year. At this time, I don't eat meat, but my husband does. So, I don't down anyone who does eat meat. If it comes down to it, and I am hungry, I will do so again. Always interested in learning the old ways and also new ways to be more self-reliant. Nice to meet you all! PS: I forgot to mention that I am trying my hand at water bath canning this year. First Time! Finished 7 pints of hamburger dill pickles. We went foraging for blackberries and I plan to make blackberry jam this weekend along with watermelon rind preserves. Maybe also some pickled okra. So excited to learn something new and useful! I have also started my second fermentation of sauerkraut. The first batch was so good!
