Good luck. Closing may take a while once you find a place here unless you are doing a cash deal. It's been 3 months so far. Hope to close this week.
Our old house hasn't been listed yet, but we are hopeful that it will sell quickly. Friends of ours listed a house and it sold within the last two weeks. Have a few more things to finish on it before listing, but we are getting close.
Well, the house went on the market today and we have had three people tour it, tons of drive-bys and one who wants to know how long until we can be out. Looks like the Eugene, Oregon market is HOT! Hopefully we can have a quick sale/closing and be on our way before the Potato In Chief bans interstate travel or something intelligent like that.
We just accepted an offer on our house here in Oregon! 10 days total on the market and we got exactly what we were looking to get. One month to close and we'll be on our way to Missouri! Now the hard work begins looking for our new place.
whisperingrankins, so glad you like your new place, sorry about the calinutz, just aint figured out how to keep em out. Don't know how close you are to them woods, just remember to have a good fire break. Where I'm at we have a vol fire dept and it takes about 20-30 min for them to get here. Fire scares the heck out of me.

There's work to do in that regard. Fortunately, most of the trees are hardwoods and not evergreens. Much harder to get them to burn. If we were closer to the cedar forest, I would definitely be more concerned.
Does anyone know the annual incident rate for forest fires in Texas county?
