I was missing in action for a while... but Im back!

We moved in July and it has been a real process making the changes from green rainy country to the desert.  We lived here before, so we kinda knew what we were in for, but this time we are *settling* it, and turning it into a homestead.  There is a lot to learn.  Thankfully we have quite an active gardening, permaculture, homesteading community, so there is a lot of help, sharing and exchange.  We are out pretty far into the desert, so we didnt have decent access to internet.  Still barely have.   So I am way behind catching up on the board and all the new posts.  Howdy everybody from the Mohave Desert in Beautiful Arizona.
