We are new to North Central Arkansas. We planted 10 blueberry bushes right in the ground about a month ago. A guy who dropped off firewood told us we shouldn't plant blueberry bushes directly in the ground here because the soil to too alkaline(?). We need to plant them in containers or they will die in 3 years 
. I took direction from the nursery where I purchased my bushes - they did not say anything about planting them in containers. Do I dig them up right away. How frustrating. J
