I can understand all that brother. The roof sprung a leak and with all this rain I had a mess to clean up and fix yesterday. I got it done and fixed and thankfully I didn't have to do it today since it has been freezing rain all day.

I can relate as well. The chores are never ending on the homestead. How do you make chicory coffee. Is it wild chicory?

Hey luckydog2, that is very interesting. I had no idea that chicory was a commercial item. I have read about southerners using it instead of coffee during hard times back in the civil war, when coffee wasn't available but had no idea that it was still a thing. I am an avid coffee drinker, probably border on being a coffeeholic if there is such a thing. Is chicory made to be used in a coffee maker? I guess what I am asking is; for you to educate me on the way of it, if you have the inclination. This may not be the right place for this discussion, so if it needs to go under a different thread, go ahead; you lead and I'll follow. I look forward to any information you can share.
