Well 2021 finally got here. Whats changed besides the date. We still have this china virus, only now we have a few vaccines that have been rushed through government testing rules. A vaccine that is approved by an organization that is ran by big pharma execs, that get it right so many times my tv runs adds all night long wanting to sue the manufactures that have the same approval from these same people. A vaccine an mRNA vaccine that has never been approved for human use, yet it's fast tracked for approval, with no recourse against the manufacturer. People are refusing to take it, that makes sense, let see what happens with the ones they gave it to first. Oops, that's not going to work because now we have a new strain that's way more contagious than the original. OH by the way there are only a few cases, like 7 or 9 total in 3 states, but hey, no worries this vaccine will work on them to. The government is just now identifying it but it already knows the vaccine will work against it. Did you ever wonder how they did 4 or 5 years research in 9 months? That part is simple, DARPA gave the gene sequence to Physor and NIH yes Faucci gave it to Moderna. Wonder why they got it or who they got it from? Lets see Faucci sent millions of US grant dollars to China, Wuhan lab. I'm just guessing here but I'll bet Faucci and DARPA will share the patents on the vaccine. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has now ruled that an employer can require an employee to either take the vaccine or lose their job. What will come next, no vaccine no entry into banks, groceries, or any government buildings or medical facilities. All for the safety of the workers inside. Don't be surprised if this is only the beginning.

mandcfamily58 I dont think wood splitting ever ends in the winter. Its either for the stove now, or for next week or next year it just goes on and on. Gardens are on every preppers mind this time of year. It's cold outside and there is nothing better than a hot cup of coffee and a stack of seed catalogs haha, at least around here.

mandcfamily58 we should always be thankful for the axe or we would have to build a lot bigger wood stove. We have progressed greatly from a rock on a stick haha

And while you guys are dreaming of your gardens, mine is planted here in south Florida! This is the first time I tried this and wanted to learn. Not going so well, but I added some donkey compost and things are sprouting up better and looking a bit healthier. My husband built me 2 raised garden beds but I feel like we got to a late start with the seedlings so not sure if I’ll actually get a harvest or not. Going to keep learning and trying!

janinfl congratulations, at least you have the ambition to try. When my wife and I first started our homestead 20 years ago we couldn't keep a silk flower alive. We spent hours reading articles from the local extension office, talking to locals that had gardens, and making a lot of mistakes, but the key is to stick with it. We went from knowing nothing to making a living off 3 acres of produce, so I know it can be done. Good luck and ask away if we can help in any way. Missouri is diff but some things are the same.
