Prepping in the physical is a very good idea, especially nowadays. Anyone who is not prepping needs to get started immediately in my opinion. Also, prepping for times ahead it not only a good idea it is also correct biblically speaking.
Think about Noah as God commanded him to build an ark for the coming flood. Genesis 6:14 Go and make thee an ark of gopher wood, rooms you shall make in this ark and pitch it within and without with pitch.
God also commanded Noah to store up food. Genesis 6:21 And you shall take for yourself of all food that is eaten and you shall gather it unto yourself and it shall be food for you and for them.
Many people wonder how much food to store/prep up. Genesis 7:24 And the flood waters prevailed upon the land for 150 days. Now, 150 days equates to 5 months. Having 5 months of food on hand is a good idea. I will suggest that if possible store up more than that as we may need to share with family members or those who cannot afford to prep enough.
1st Timothy 5:8 For whoever who does not provide for his own has denied the faith and is worse than unbeliever.
Now please give thought to Matthew 24:37 For as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the son of man (Jesus)
Hebrews 11:7 By faith, Noah when warned about things not yet seen, moved with Godly fear and built the ark to save his family.
Yes, God is still watching what is going on in this earth He created. You do not need to go and build and ark or become a street preacher. You do need to believe in God and Jesus Christ His son.
Consider Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.
Yes, you must also be spiritually prepared as well as physically prepared. Being spiritually prepared is
easy and cost you nothing. Only believe.
Roman 10:11 For scripture say, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.
Believe in God and accept Jesus Christ. Be spiritually prepped.
