Hello all! Happy to be here, learning and growing. I'm in the frozen Midwest, USA. I am a single parent and want to do more prepping this year. It's difficult as I have a limited budget and limited space (both in the house and land-wise). Any tips for what to focus on for single parents? I get overwhelmed easily as there seems to be SO much to do. I have a good stockpile of food, I have a Berkey for water filtration. We have bugout bags (2 teens/1 tween). I have a handcrank radio solar/handcrank lantern. I do have home protection but need to branch out and also learn how to use it better. We do have a decent sized backyard and have put in a garden the last 2 years. I am committed to growing more food each year. I know how to can food and currently have a waterbath canner, but am limited on time (I work a full time job outside the home) and space (limited storage space for canned goods). Thanks for any info you have! MicroGal
