Hi im new here and am not computor savy even a little.my husband had to hlep me get to this page so i can ask a question.is there a way to make basic inexpensive foods without an actual recipe , that i can learn ratios of how to for one example make bisquits ? i would love to learn how to just open cubbard and instinctively know how to combine ingredients for baking especially.any help , thoughts or ideas would be greatly apreciated!thanks so much

Frances, my first thought since you are not comfortable with computers is to find yourself a granny in your community. Churches especially are full of these darling ladies that would love nothing better than share their skills. I was fortunate to have a mom and grandma that could stretch a dollar and still serve the best meals. If you don’t attend a church, check a senior residence and talk to their activities coordinator. She could arrange a senior recipe collection for you. Also look for cookbooks put out by clubs or churches that are favorites. You’ll get lots of inspiration from those!
