Hoping I can encourage some activity on this forum page.
We are a family of 7...with extended family 13. We have followed along with the "prepping communities" for a long while...but have actually done very very little. We are now greatly regretting it.
We recently moved back to MO from Utah where we had lived for about 4 years. Before that we traveled this amazing country for 2 years (26 states). We learned to live with what we had, in tight spaces so I think we have a leg up on some in that aspect.
We currently reside im Republic MO while we search for a homestead property.
Our preps thus far include about 3 months (ish) food. We also have purchased seed trays and supplies to get garden plants started and our seeds from Baker Creek should be here this coming Monday. We are in city limits so farm animals are not an option at the moment.
I would love to connect with other like minded folks and share ideas and what not.
I am a welder by trade and am fairly handy.
More than willing to lend a hand when I can and our kids are pretty great help (to everyone BUT us)
I see all these things going on in Virginia and in DC as well as the things in nature taking place and honestly hope we didn't start too late.
I see many on Youtube etc talking about their faith so I think it is important to share mine. Technically I am LDS...baptised into the church when we lived in Utah. I now find myself doubting the decision...I really love the community aspect of the LDS faith and the world can learn a LOT from them. I will just leave it at this...I believe in Jesus Christ,I don't pick up a Bible nearly enough and I know I am still searching for answers.
Hope I can be of service and also learn from others here.
