Hi everyone! I just found this website because I happened upon a Youtube video about the most important thing you can do before everything crashes.
I don't homestead but I do have 1/3 acre in the suburbs and do what I can with that. I have learned canning for the first time in my life and I am 66 years-old. I find that I am having a lot of fun with that and that it is a lot of work but worth it. I have always had a little store because I used to coupon a lot when the five kids were at home. Now I live by myself but have increased my food storage since getting the first warning in March with the Covid outbreak. Slowly I have increased what I buy and can and feel confident that I have at least 4 months supply, maybe more. I do what I can.
Although I live in a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri I love learning what other folks are doing to prepare and be safe.

Welcome to the group. Funny thing about homesteading, you are always learning something from someone. Enjoy you time with us and ask any question you may have, hopefully someone can give you an answer.
